How does Thai Foot Massage work?

Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the hands, lower legs and feet that involves hands on stretching and massage to “open” Sen (energy) Lines. Specific massage techniques are used to stimulate the reflex points on the feet, which correspond to the internal organs of the body. By skilfully massaging these different points the body and the mind are stimulated to restore the balance in that particular area, and thereby naturally restoring homeostasis giving the receiver a holistic treatment.

The uniqueness of this massage is that it releases all the toxins, both on an energetic and physiologic level. As a consequence, clients don’t feel sedated after a session but leave feeling centred and grounded after the massage.

The massage is usually done fully clothed, ideally wearing loose fitting trousers. The session will usually last from thirty to sixty minutes while the client remains lying comfortably on a massage table.
