How does Indian Head Massage work?
The massage begins with the neck, upper back, shoulders and upper arms working deeply over the muscles and pressure points to help relax and ease tension allowing fibrous knots to melt away. Specific massage techniques are used on the scalp to encourage circulation, oxygen and nutrients to the area and to stimulate hair growth, volume and lustre. The treatment finishes with a blissful and soothing face massage, which includes pressure points and draining techniques that may help headaches and sinus problems.
The massage is done with the client fully clothed, ideally wearing a camisole or vest top. The session will usually last from thirty to sixty minutes while the client remains seated in a comfortable chair.
